Berliner Dom

One of the most beautiful cathedrals in Berlin is the Berliner Dom, a Protestant cathedral built...long ago. Makes a lovely background for pictures, and has a grassy park for playing. In the background you may spot the TV tower, the Ferldjpijgnapisjeijonsturm. It's one of those German words.

Little Red Haired Girl

So we're walking around Charlottenburg Palace, and this little red haired girl comes up to me and gives me a hug. This happens to me quite often, but I was a little surprised that it happened in Berlin. The student was none other than Chamblee alumnus Jessie Trawick, who is doing a semester abroad in Berlin. She hopes to become a German teacher someday, just like Frau Alexander. It's a small world after all!

Outdoor viewing opportunities abound, and it's a great chance to see Germans misbehave. Kind of reminds me of fans at a UGA game- on steroids. These brave souls caught the first half near the Brandenburg Gate.
