Holocaust Memorial

Thousands of gravestone- like concrete columns mark the site of the memorial to the murdered Jews of Berlin. Before WWII, Berlin had the most vibrant Jewish population in Germany, numbering over 150,000 people. The memorial is like a maze and is meant to be solemn, but kids end up playing hide and seek (not ours of course). A museum is located under the memorial.
