Berliner Dom

One of the most beautiful cathedrals in Berlin is the Berliner Dom, a Protestant cathedral built...long ago. Makes a lovely background for pictures, and has a grassy park for playing. In the background you may spot the TV tower, the Ferldjpijgnapisjeijonsturm. It's one of those German words.

  1. Finished in 1906, actually. Wilhelm II wanted Berlin to have a big state church, and it's across from where the city palace used to be.

Was pretty seriously damaged in WWII, and they finally rebuilt it in the '90s, I think.
