Charlottenburg

What started as a simple summer home in1701 got a little out of hand, and today the palace and gardens are masterpieces of design. While other palaces fall apart, this one is repaired all the time, because if it's not baroque, don't fix it.

Frau Alexander is a great fan of local transit, so we've been able to sample a variety of buses and bahns. Great way to meet interesting people.

From Wurst to First

Caleb couldn't wait for lunch, so he sampled a wurst at the airport. At lunch we had genuine curry wurst at a Russian restaurant. A true cross
cultural experience.

We Made It!

I'm not quite sure of the date or the time, but we made it. No drama on the flight , and only one lost camera (recovered) and a mislaid ipod (found). Names being withheld to assure good behavior. If your kid doesn't appear in a picture, don't panic. They're all here. Some are just a little shy. More to come!
